Jhenidah Ex-Cadets Association (JEXCA) is the alumni association of the ex-cadets (former students) of Jhenidah Cadet College (JCC). Every cadet who has passed out of Jhenidah Cadet College is by default a member, and the association counts more than 2,500 members around the world. JEXCA is registered with the Department of Social Services (Social Welfare Department) of Bangladesh.
Beyond keeping its members connected, JEXCA works as a charitable and social body. Its work includes relief after disasters, scholarships for needy students, welfare support for needy JCC employees, and free healthcare for poor people. Its Free Friday Clinic (FFC) gives free consultation and medicine to slum dwellers and poor people in Dhaka and Khulna, and many members donate monthly to keep the clinics running. The JEXCA Healthcare Complex in Khulna had served more than 50,000 underprivileged patients free of cost by 2022. Corporate partners such as IPDC Finance and the MTB Foundation have supported it.
JEXCA also organises the college's reunions. In January 2013 it hosted the three-day Golden Jubilee of Jhenidah Cadet College and the 11th JCC Reunion at the college grounds. Thousands of alumni attended, and Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhith inaugurated the event as chief guest.
About the parent institution: Jhenidah Cadet College was established on 18 October 1963 and took its first intake in 1964. It is the second oldest of Bangladesh's twelve cadet colleges, which are fully residential public schools with a military-style routine. Its campus of about 103 acres lies on the outskirts of Jhenaidah town in Khulna Division.
